Thorough Patient Training

Upon discharge from the hospital and when beginning home infusion therapy, patients receive care from our nurse clinician who is trained in critical care skills. Patients are provided with information to lessen concerns about home care.

Nurse Visits and Assessments

A Kaup Pharmacy registered nurse makes home visits, assesses the patient's progress, and reports to the prescribing physician.  Also, Kaup Pharmacy will work with your nursing agency to bring you the best possible home infusion experience.

Clinical Pharmacy Assessment

Expert pharmacy personnel perform evaluations and assessments of patient nutritional needs for enteral and parenteral patients.  For intravenous antibiotic patients, Kaup Pharmacy provides pharmacokinetic dosing, offering the best patient specific therapy.
